Barton’s Knee Acting Up This Week

Say it ain’t so Mr. Goold!!!

 Rule 5 pick Brian Barton left camp to get his knee examined, due to some soreness in the joint. Many feel the former highly touted Indians prospect fell to the Cardinals due to concern over the knee. I think a healthy Barton could be a big suprise for the Cardinals, but just when I get my hopes up on what seems like a hopeless season, I’m let down.(See Clement, Matt)

Dare I say anything about Kyle McClellan? Eeeek! This kid excites me, and he’s looking good this spring.

Buster Olney thinks the Cards are a logical landing place for Clemens

I still believe that Roger Clemens may never pitch in the Major Leagues ever again, and if he does, it’ll be where he’s comfortable: In Houston.

However, Buster Olney seems to think other than Houston, the Cardinals could be a logcial destination.
